In recent years, the dry and hot summers have significantly affected the tree population. Additionally, global deforestation remains a problem. However, wood is the foundation of our products, which is why we exclusively use materials from sustainable sources, certified by FSC and even PEFC (this standard is even higher quality).

Moreover, we now also support the planting of new trees, specifically in our hometown of Mönchengladbach. The local Mönchengladbach company mags (Mönchengladbacher Abfall-, Grün- und Straßenbetriebe AöR) is involved in compensatory planting and reforestation projects, which are implemented through donations. Specifically, trees are planted in parks and green spaces, and we are happy to contribute!

How are we approaching this?

• The planting of a tree is possible with a donation starting from 100 EUR. We are collecting for this purpose.
• We will contribute half of the amount, meaning that as soon as we raise 50 EUR, a new tree can be planted.
• The tree to be planted will have a trunk circumference of 10-12 cm.
• You have the opportunity to become a co-sponsor of a tree. Starting from a donation of 10 EUR, you will become an official co-sponsor of a tree. You will receive a link to the location of the tree and periodic photos. We will display the planted trees on our website and gladly mention you as a sponsor (if desired). Additionally, all supporters who donate 10 EUR or more will receive a 10% discount voucher for their next purchase in our shop.
• You can also donate less, even if it’s just a cent – every bit helps to plant the next tree.
