Players (2–6) bid for victory point tokens. However, resources are scarce. Who will use their coins most effectively?
Contents:
- 21 point tokens
- 80 coins (20 each in 4 colors)
Setup:
Each player receives an equal number of coins. Any excess coins are removed. The point tokens are shuffled and stacked face-down (showing the value side).
Gameplay:
The top point token is revealed. Simultaneously, players secretly decide how much to bid for this token and hold the corresponding coins in their hand.
• Red Value 1
• Orange Value 2
• Yellow Value 5
• Purple Value 0
Everyone MUST bid at least one coin. If a player has no coins left, they no longer participate in the bidding—in that case, even another player’s bid of zero (purple) is enough to win the token!
The player with the highest total value wins the point token. In the event of a tie, no one wins it. All bids are paid (the coins are removed).
End of the game:
The game ends after 15 rounds, meaning 6 tokens remain. Depending on the number of players, these remaining tokens are pushed into the center.
The player with the most coins remaining goes first; they flip one of the tokens over and give it to a player (including themselves). The next player then does the same. Each player receives one token in this final round—so no one gets more than one. In the event of a tie, the youngest player begins.
The winner is the player with the highest total score at the end. There can be multiple winners.
