Rules for Rolling Thunder
Players compete directly against one another. Who can flick the game pieces closest to the white target?
Contents:
- 9 red game pieces (Rolls)
- 1 white game piece (Target)
Setup:
Each player receives the same number of game pieces. Any extra pieces are removed. The white target piece is placed about 20 cm away from everyone. The player who last saw a flash of lightning goes first.Gameplay:
The active player places one of their stones on its side and flicks or taps it so that it rolls toward the white disc.
The other players take their turns in a clockwise direction.
Scoring:
- Hit Target: The player whose piece touches the white disc scores one point.
- Missed Action: If the red disc—or any other disc that is hit—falls over, this results in a minus point.
The game is played over 10 rounds (or as many as you like). The winner is the player with the most points overall.
If the same number of players participate every time, they can of course mark their stones, decorate them, etc.
