Rules for Skyscraper Bowl
A game for 2–4 dexterous dice jugglers
Contents:
- Skyscraper
- Set of 4×10 cubes
Setup:
Place the skyscraper in the center of the table. Each player receives the dice of one color.
Gameplay:
The game consists of two rounds, in each of which players use 5 of their dice.
Players roll their current 5 dice. The player who rolled the higher total starts.
The starting player then flips their die with the highest number as close to the building as possible. The other players take turns clockwise, each flicking their highest-numbered die, and so on, until all 5 of their dice have been flicked.
If a player knocks over the building, they receive as many penalty points as the total of all visible die faces played up to that point. They take all the dice on the table and place them to their left (the penalty point corner).
The building is put back in place and play continues.
Once all dice have been played and the skyscraper has not fallen over (again), the player whose die is now closest to the skyscraper receives points equal to the number on that die. He receives points in the same way for his own dice that are also closer to the skyscraper than his opponent’s. He places these dice to his right (the plus-point corner).
The remaining dice (which do not count toward the score) are set aside. The second round proceeds in exactly the same way.
