Rules: Sticky Poker
Rules for Sticky Poker
An action game for 2–4 players in which the goal is to score points by skillfully using one's sticks.
Contents:
- 120 laying sticks (30 each in 4 colors)
Setup:
The sticks are distributed. Each player receives:
- for 2 players: 15 of each color
- for 3 players: 10 of each color
- for 4 players: 7 of each color (2 of each color remain)
- for 5 players: 6 of each color
- for 6 players: 5 of each color
Gameplay:
Players now take any number of sticks into their hand, keeping them hidden. The following rules apply:
- at least 2 colors must be included
- there must be at least 5 sticks (2–4 players) or 2 sticks (5–6 players)
Players reveal their hands simultaneously. The player who bid the simple majority wins the round and scores a point. In the event of a tie, NO points are awarded. The sticks used are removed from play.
The winner of a round starts the next round, which proceeds in the same way, except that this player places ONE stick face-up in front of them before everyone selects their sticks and then reveals them simultaneously.
End of the Game:
This is repeated until no one has any sticks left. The winner is the player with the most points.
